WAVELOG USER GUIDE

To get to the logging program, click on WAVELOG or go to https://wavelog.w9yt.org/ then click on the LOG IN WITH BARS button.

You should now be looking at the sign in page. You can log in through your DISCORD account through there.

At the Bottom of the Hello screen, click on "Skip and Open Clubstation W9YT", then click the "Yes, Switch Over!" button.

You are now looking at the Dashboard. There is a map and a list of recent contacts with some stats on the right side.

At the top of the page you will see options: LOGBOOK, QSO, ANALYTICS, AWARDS, and TOOLS.

To START logging Click on QSO and select a Logging style.

WAVELOG supports 3 Logging styles under the QSO pulldown: LIVE QSO, POST A QSO, and SIMPLE FAST LOG ENTRY

LIVE QSO is for logging a QSO as you are having it. You cannot override the date field and can only set the start time to current. Follow the links for more detail.

POST A QSO is the most general option with the Date and Time default to current, but you can overwrite the Date and Times. Very useful for entering QSOs that have already happened, but you can use it as your default as it does everything LIVE QSO does.

SIMPLE FAST LOG ENTRY is the most generic entry mode. There are no fields, just a box you enter your contact in a single string. WAVELOG will attempt to parse the information and display it as it will go in the log.
